IBAC 2027 will be hosted at the Nombolo Mdhluli Conference Centre in Skukuza, the largest rest camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa. There are few better places to gather the bioacoustics community than in the heart of one of Africa’s richest soundscapes.

Everything is on site. Accommodation, dining, and the conference venue are all within the camp, so delegates can move easily between sessions, meals, and their rooms without needing transport. Beyond the conference, you’ll be right on the doorstep of Kruger’s world-famous wildlife, with game drives, guided walks and the chance to see the Big Five just outside the camp gates.
